I admit it. I have to have my coffee! I am one of those people that drinks coffee first thing in the morning and all day. I can drink coffee right up to bed time and have no trouble sleeping! What do I do when camping? What would I do if the electricity went out and I can’t make my coffee even at home?! I admit, I would be a little upset! Are you like me…do you need/want your coffee?  I live in the Midwest of the U.S. and sometimes the weather can get pretty unpredictable!  Rain storms in the spring and summer, snow storms with ice in the winter can cause power outages.  I like to be prepared!

There are many types of coffee and ways to make coffee at home or camping. if your Here are a few choices that can make your coffee experience a little easier.

• Instant coffee –   My choice is Starbucks Via Italian Roast Instant Coffee.  It is a dark roast with bold flavors that tastes rich and full without nearly any bitterness.  Instant coffee for camping is light weight when camping.

• Boiling Water – A great stove to use for camping or when you are at home and the power goes out is the Coleman Classic Propane Stove .  You will need propane for your stove.
